Dusk is a Chrome extension that makes web pages dark at night. This policy explains what it does with data.
Dusk stores the following in Chrome’s local extension storage (chrome.storage.local), on your device only:
You can clear all of it at any time by removing the extension.
To restyle a page, Dusk has to read that page’s stylesheets and colors in your browser. When a page uses a stylesheet or a logo image from another domain, Dusk’s background script re-downloads that same file directly from the site that served it, so its colors can be analyzed. These requests go only to the website you’re already visiting (or the servers it loads files from), never to the developer, and their contents are processed in memory and discarded.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
